🎙️ Ana Barros, Technical Responsible for Fermentation and Laboratory at Allmicroalgae, will be lecturing at the 8º iFEQB – Fórum de Engenharia Química e Biológica do ISEL (8th Chemical and Biological Engineering Forum) on the 11th of May.

“Otimização de crescimento heterotrófico de Chlorella vulgaris da escala laboratorial à industrial” (“Optimization of heterotrophic growth of Chlorella vulgaris from laboratory to industrial scale”)

Part of this work falls under the scope of Performalgae, where we’ll develop improved C. vulgaris strains, with support of our partners at Universidade do Algarve, and scale them up to industrial production of biostimulants, to be tested by Green CoLab.

With this knowledge and experience sharing initiative, #ISEL engineering students will have the opportunity to interact closely with the industrial world of #microalgae and #sustainability.
